Flexible Radar Settings
Same-Direction with Directional Antenna Operation
Directional antenna determine if same-direction vehicles are closing or going away. Measures same-direction traffic speeds as simply and accurately as opposite-direction traffic.
Selective Stationary Operation
Monitors specific direction of traffic. Measures closing targets while ignoring going-away vehicles, even if going-away target is closer than closing target.
Choose Your Display
LCD
The Stalker DSR is available with two display options:
- The new LCD option is designed for higher visibility in bright lighting conditions, and features more intuitive, text-based navigational menus and an upgraded user interface.
- Our original LED design offers the ability to adjust the display brightness based on ambient lighting conditions.
Displays can be separated from the counting unit and connected using an optional separation cable.

Connecting Your Radar
To get accurate radar speed readings in moving mode, your DSR needs to be able to accurately measure your patrol vehicle’s speed on a second-to-second basis. There are three ways to obtain this speed:
Stalker Speed Module
Satellite-Connected Plug-and-Play Accuracy
For many years, agencies were able to gather this information directly from the vehicle via the OBD-II port or by tapping into the VSS, but many late-model patrol vehicles no longer offer these options.
Alterative Connections:
OBD-II Port
Many vehicles allow access to the computer via an OBD-II port. Your Stalker radar can plug directly into this port.
VSS Cable
Some agencies choose to wire directly into their patrol vehicle’s VSS cable to connect their radar system.
