Spotter Mode
Capture video and speed violation evidence using your Stalker Lidar RLR paired with the Task Force App on your mobile device
In Spotter Mode, when the officer sees a speeding vehicle, they pull the trigger on their RLR, which automatically begins recording a video clip of the incident in the app. Recording stops when the officer releases the trigger, which then sends video to the secure cloud.
Responder Mode
Receive violation alert – join the event, make the stop, add photos or video to the evidence file.
Multiple officers can be logged in to Responder Mode. As soon as a violation is recorded by the Spotter, all devices logged into Responder Mode will receive the alert. The video evidence can be reviewed by the support officer.
Secure Evidence Portal
All video, audio, photo, and data automatically stored in a secure cloud for access, filtering, and court sharing.
Recorded violations are sent from both app modes to the cloud-based Evidence Portal. Users can also view maps that show the location of violations, sort records by date or officer name, review evidence, and export data.
How it Works
To upgrade the firmware of your Stalker RLR to allow pairing with Apple iOS devices
For older Stalker RLR Lidar, the firmware can be updated to connect to your Apple iOS device and take advantage of the simple pairing features for newer Android devices.
Simply contact your Stalker representative or Stalker Customer Service for more information.
Activation and Data Storage
Once the Task Force application is downloaded and installed, contact your Stalker representative for activation and data storage plan pricing.
Connecting Your Device
Apple iOS Devices
Using the Task Force application on Apple iOS devices requires a Stalker RLR firmware version 2.1.2.0 or higher with iOS 17 or higher.
For using iOS devices with Stalker RLR firmware versions before 2.1.2.0, contact Stalker for details about upgrading your Stalker RLR unit.
Android Devices
The Task Force application will work with Android devices running Android 13 or higher regardless of the RLR firmware version.
Hold your cell phone safe and secure
A heavy-duty Stalker RLR cell phone holder is available. It attaches easily to your RLR without any tools and is adjustable to securely hold any cell phone on the market today.
It is available on the Stalker Radar website with other RLR accessories, part number 200-1652-00.
